Moto X For Verizon Now Tasting Its Lollipop
Android 5.0 Lollipop is now seeding to Moto X (2014) for Verizon Wireless.
The latest Android build for the Moto X is in stock form, so it offers the same user interface experience as the Nexus 6. The update arrives only a couple of days after soak test invites got out to Motorola Feedback Network participants.
The biggest highlights of Android 5.0 include sleek Material Design and brand new ART runtime. The latter makes devices feel a lot more responsive regardless of the task they perform.

Nexus 6 out at AT&T starts pre-orders tomorrow, at Sprint on Nov 14
The Nexus 6 may intermittently be available on the Google Play store, but nothing has been heard related to release time frames from the US carriers that will sell it.
This has changed today, as both AT&T and Sprint have made their plans official. AT&T will start taking pre-orders for the phablet tomorrow, on November 12. It looks like only the "Midnight Blue" color version will be available.
If you're interested, you should know that the price with a two-year contract is going to be $249.99. With no annual commitment, you'll need to shell out $682.99 for the phone if you buy it from AT&T, but you can also go the Next route, paying zero down and then having either 20 monthly installments of $34.15, or 24 monthly payments of $28.46, or 30 monthly installments of $22.77.
While AT&T hasn't told when the Nexus 6 will actually be in stock, Sprint is boasting that it will have the device available in-store as well as online starting this Friday, November 14.
This carrier has chosen not to tell how much the Nexus 6 will cost with a two-year contract. The full price, sans contract, will be $696. And if you use Sprint's Easy Pay scheme, you'll shell out nothing upfront, then followed by 24 monthly payments of $29.

Moto X Lollipop update gets leaked, a new camera app in sight
With Motorola’s recent history of lightning-fast Android OS updates, it is expected Android 5.0 Lollipop updates to show up for the company’s smartphone line in not long. Some confirmation of the fact that Motorola’s hard at work on the updates with the image leaks today of the alleged Moto X 2014 Lollipop update, as well as a look at the alleged new camera app.
It offers a pretty clean Lollipop experience, with everything looking pretty stock and things like Moto Voice getting appropriately overhauled design-wise to match the general aesthetic of the Android release. There is one thing noticeably weird about this software, though: the signal strength bars are still, well, bars. In stock Lollipop, it’s filled in all the way. This could just be something that’s amiss with the internal test build, and could be corrected with the final release.
The camera also adds additional features, like a shutter timer, and the iconography has changed to match up better with Material Design guidelines. There’s no word yet on whether the shooter itself performs better with the update.
